Levitra is used to treat erectile dysfunction, more commonly known as impotence, in men. This is when a man cannot get, or maintain, a hard erect penis suitable for sexual activity.
Levitra is the brand name for a medication called Vardenafil.
Viagra is a product of Bayer.
Cialis comes in 5 mg, 10 mg and 20 mg doses.
Unfortunately Levitra is not subsidised under the PBS which means patients pay the full price of $10-$11 per tablet.
Levitrara is not suitable for patients who have:
- Also been prescribed nitrates
- Known hypersensitivity to Sildenafil
Like all medications Levitra has side effects in some patients with headache and facial flushing being the most common.
